Mission, Philosophy & Values

Mission

Our mission at True Wealth Advisors, LLC is to empower individuals and families with the objective information and advice needed to make sound and meaningful financial decisions in order to confidently achieve and honor your most cherished life goals, dreams and values.

Financial Planning Philosophy

Financial planning is the process of meeting your life goals through the proper management of your economic resources. We believe that financial planning provides direction and meaning to your financial decisions. It allows you to understand how each financial decision you make affects other areas of your financial life. By viewing each financial decision as part of the whole picture, you can consider its short and long-term effects on your life goals. You can also adapt more easily to life changes and feel more secure that you are on track to meet your goals.

Core Values

  • Integrity
We fully disclose in advance and in writing to each client the scope and cost of the services to be provided. Every financial planning engagement is customized to meet each client's needs. We offer clients the flexibility to engage us on either a one-time, as needed, or ongoing basis. Our recommendations reflect the simplest, most prudent solutions, at the most reasonable cost.
  • Fee Only Advisory Firm
  • Fee-Only Objectivity
As a fee-only practice, True Wealth Advisors, LLC acts as a fiduciary, and places the client's best interests above all else. We work solely for our clients. Clients pay a reasonable hourly or project based fee to obtain only as much advice as they need. We do not receive or accept any compensation from third parties as a result of our recommendations, eliminating any potential conflict of interest.
  • Certified Financial Planner
  • Competency
We uphold the professional personal financial planning standards developed by the profession's regulatory organization, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Only individuals who meet rigorous certification requirements, ongoing continuing education, and Code of Ethics are authorized by CFP Board to use its certification trademark, CFP®.
  • Professionalism
Financial Planners Association Karin Maloney Stifler serves on the National Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), a membership organization for the financial planning community. Members include individuals and companies who are committed to championing the financial planning process. FPA members are dedicated to supporting the financial planning process in order to help people achieve their goals and dreams. The FPA believes that everyone needs objective advice to make smart financial decisions and that when seeking the advice of a financial planner, the planner should be a CFP® certificant.

“Life is difficult” wrote M. Scott Peck in “The Road Less Traveled”. Time and again, Steve Jobs boldly and bravely accepted failure, human imperfection, pain and death, and showed us that adversity is not a reason to quit, but the inspiration to find a better way. With Steve Jobs as a shining example, let’s bypass Easy Street, and discover the uncharted paths that can make all the difference now. Not easy, but worthy of everything we’ve got to get America back on track.
